Got a pair of super sensitive headphones that pick up every little bit of background hiss or noise?

This little impedance plug might be the fix.

It's a simple adapter that goes between your audio source (like a DAC, amp, or some music players) and your headphones to help reduce unwanted noise.
It comes in two impedance options: the white-ring version is 80 ohms, and the black-ring version is 220 ohms.

Higher impedance generally means more noise reduction, but it can also make the audio a bit quieter.

The plug itself is 3.5mm and made from copper for good connectivity.
A few important things to know: This adapter doesn't work with phones or with headphones that have a built-in microphone/remote—it'll disable those functions.

Also, because every audio setup is different, it might not eliminate all noise, but it usually makes a noticeable difference.

It's a cheap and easy thing to try if hiss is driving you crazy.
Just plug it in and see.

(Heads up: This is just for the adapter—no headphones or players are included.)
