He also showed us about how he harvests chips of paint from Cadillac Ranch and turns them into beautiful pieces of jewelry.
What makes Lile’s work truly special is his use of Cadillac Ranch paint chips—layers of paint collected from the legendary roadside art installation just west of Amarillo. Lile pioneered a process of transforming these colorful fragments into stunning enamel jewelry and artwork, giving new life to pieces of Route 66’s history.
